◆자하 하디드의 작품들이 묘사한 언어적 의미

  

반 중력, 파편적, 혁신적 -  반 중력이라는 그 자체에서 의미를 찾아 출발하는 것보다는

그것이 제안하고 있는 해방이라는 개념에서 출발하는 편이 좋다.

 

  우리들을 속박하고 구속하는 극도의 보수적인 틀에서 구해내고 해방시키는 그러므로

그것은 이 모든 한계성을 극복할 수 있는 하나의 방법을 제안하는 것이라 볼 수 있다고 생각한다.

그리고 그것은 두 가지의 구체적인 해방을 의미한다고 말할 있는데,

첫번째로 우리의 표현 방법에 대한 해방과 또 하나는 구조적인 측면에서의 해방이다.

  궁극적으로 반 중력이라는 것은 하나의 순수한 기하성과 복잡 다양성을 동시에 표현하는 것이라고 이야기 할 수 있다.

 

 

Not many architects would have the patience, passion and persistence to design, take part in competitions and constantly produce work for over 10 years, with most of their projects never actually getting realised until very recently. And this is not the only reason that made Zaha Hadid stand out of the crowd, and become one of the most creative living architects. 

From June 29 - November 25 2007, The Design Museum is now showing architecture and design work from the talented Baghdad-born Hadid, one of the very few widely recognized female architects, in a major exhibition running until November. A fine selection of her both built and unbuilt work, including wonderful early hand-drawings, sketches, presentation and working models, as well as work-in-progress, spreads in two levels of the museum available for the broader audience – and not only - to enjoy: “It is a pleasure for me as well, to revisit the material and see it all together here, in juxtaposition”, said the architect at the opening.
